CIS Students - Field Trip to Syracuse University

Friday, February 3, 2012, we visited both the iSchool (School of Information Studies) and S. I. Newhouse (School of Public Communications) at Syracuse University.  We learned about new trends in technology as well as the variety of career opportunities available in computer technology and information systems.  The faculty, staff, and students that spent time with us during the day were very generous with their time.  We had a great day!

CIS Students -  Field Trip to Applebee's

MPH students visit Applebee's in Dewitt to learn how computer technology is used effectively in a service business.  Sean Gavigan, Director of Operations for Syracuse with T. L. Cannon Management Corporation, spent the afternoon with us on Friday, December 16. After a very informative session with Mr. Gavigan, students enjoyed complimentary refreshments.
